If a green smoothie isn’t cutting it, and I’m craving something creamier and more filling, this shake is it! The banana, almond butter, and raw chocolate combo is out of this world.
YIELD: 2 cups
PREP TIME:
3 to 5 minutes
Ingredients
- 1 large ripe banana
- ½ cup greens (kale, bok choy,
spinach, or any greens you have
on hand) - 1 tablespoon raw cacao powder
- 1 teaspoon flaxseeds or chia seeds
- ¼ teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 cup coconut water
- ½ cup Vanilla Almond Milk, or Coconut Milk (recipes in cookbook)
- 2 tablespoons Homemade Sweet Cinnamon Almond Butter (recipe in cookbook), or store-bought almond
butter - ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon honey or 2 pitted dates
- 1 handful ice
Procedure
- Blend all ingredients together in a high-speed blender.
- Serve and enjoy!
